What is a silent heart attack?

In any type of heart attack, blood flow to the heart is blocked. Fatty plaques in the arteries and blood vessels cause blockages, restricting the flow of oxygen to the heart. Same with Silent Heart Attack. But the symptoms are sometimes mild. Sometimes it doesn't even exist.



Silent Heart Attack Symptoms

A silent heart attack goes unnoticed because there are no obvious symptoms. Doctors say it has bad consequences. But there are some noticeable symptoms that may signal a silent heart attack.


Chest pressure: A common heart attack involves severe chest pain. However, when a silent attack occurs, there is a dull ache and discomfort in the middle of the chest. A silent attack is also accompanied by a slight pressure in the chest and a feeling of tightness in the chest. Most people get confused because these are also symptoms of heartburn and indigestion.


Discomfort in other parts of the body: Apart from the chest, silent attack sufferers also experience discomfort in the back, arms, abdomen, neck and jaw.


Difficulty in breathing: Doctors say that people who have a silent attack have difficulty in breathing. Feelings of dizziness and fainting are also said to occur. If these symptoms persist for a long time, consult a doctor immediately.


Cold sweat: This is a common symptom of a silent attack. A feverish feeling, but it does not last long. Because this cold sweat disappears quickly. So if you feel like this, you should immediately consult a doctor.
