Negative thoughts are thoughts that
we have about ourselves, others, and our environment. We often think negative
thoughts without even realizing it. These thoughts may cause us to feel bad,
depressed, angry, stressed, anxious, guilty, frustrated, etc.
There are many different types of negative thoughts. Here are some examples:
- I am not good enough
- I don't deserve what I want
- I'm going to fail
- I'll never get out of debt
- I'm always wrong
- I'm stupid
- I'm ugly
- People hate me
- I'm worthless
- I'm fat
- I'm lazy
- I'm boring
How to stop Negative thoughts?
Start thinking positive!
When we have negative thoughts, our
brain releases chemicals called neurotransmitters. These chemicals cause us to
feel stressed out, anxious, depressed, angry, etc. When we start thinking
positively, these chemicals decrease and we feel happier.
Center around what you need to accomplish.
If you focus on what you don't want,
then you won't get anything else. If you think about what you do want, then
you'll attract it.
Don't compare yourself to others.
Examination causes you to regret
yourself. You're worse than any other person, simply unique.
Be grateful for everything you have.
This helps you appreciate what you
already have and gives you motivation to work hard.

Smiling increases serotonin levels in
your body, which makes you happy.
Take time for yourself.
You need to take care of yourself
first before taking care of everyone else.
Get enough sleep.

Stop thinking about negative things!
If you have been having a bad day,
try not to think about it anymore. If you do start thinking about it, then just
tell yourself “I’m going to stop thinking about this now”. You might find that
after doing this, you won’t even remember what you were thinking about.
Try to look at the bright side of things.

of whatever situation you are in. If you are feeling down, try to focus on
something good about your life instead of focusing on how much you don’t want
to feel happy.
Talk to someone who cares about you.
Talking to someone who cares about
your well-being can help you get rid of those negative feelings. Talking to
friends, family members, or even a professional counselor can help you deal
with any problems you may be facing.
Make sure you eat right.
Ensure you eat sufficient food over
the course of the day. Eating food sources high in protein and fiber can assist
you with feeling full longer. Likewise ensure you drink a lot of water.
Drinking bunches of water helps flush out poisons in your body and keeps you
feeling revived.
Exercise regularly.
Exercise releases endorphins in your
brain which makes you happier. Exercising also reduces stress levels and gives
you a sense of accomplishment.
Get some sleep.
Sleep is extremely important to our
mental health. When we lack sleep, we tend to become irritable and anxious.
Getting adequate sleep can help reduce these symptoms.
Take care of yourself.
Taking care of yourself physically
and mentally can help improve your mood. Taking time to relax and unwind can
help you feel less stressed.
What causes your negative thinking?

by our environment. When we are exposed to things that cause us to feel bad
about ourselves, we tend to think negatively. We may have experienced something

decisions based on fear. Fear is a natural instinct that helps us stay safe.
However, sometimes we let fear dictate our actions without even realizing it.
By learning to identify our fears, we can then use them to motivate us to do
things we would not normally do. Once we overcome our fears, we can move
forward with confidence.
Our minds are always working. Even when we are sleeping, our brain is still processing information. If we don't give it anything to process, it will create its own stories and beliefs. As long as we continue to expose our minds to negative stimuli, we will never achieve true happiness.

love you, and how many good friends you have.
Practice gratitude
Practicing gratitude is a great way
to help you become less focused on the negatives and more focused on the
positives. Write down three things that you're grateful for each day.
Get rid of clutter
Clutter causes stress. When you're
surrounded by clutter, it's hard to relax. Take time to clean out your house
and get rid of anything that doesn't bring you joy.
Be kind to yourself
Be kind to yourself. Don't beat
yourself up if you slip up and say something mean to yourself. Everyone slips
up sometimes. Just forgive yourself and move on.
