10 + 2 Technical Entry Scheme given by Indian Army

v To be eligible, candidates must have completed their 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and obtained a minimum of 60% marks. They are required to appear for the IIT JEE Main Exam and undergo selection through the SSB Interview (Service Selection Board Interview).

v Upon selection, candidates will undergo 10 months of Basic Military Training at the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun. Subsequently, they will be admitted to the Military College of Engineering in Pune to pursue a B.E. course. After completing their B.E., candidates will receive Post Commissioned Training and will be employed as Lieutenants.

10 + 2 Cadet Entry Scheme or 10 + 2 Matric Entry Scheme

v Qualification – same as 10 + 2 Technical Entry Scheme.Selection also as per 10 + 2 TES.

v Upon completion of a 6-month Basic Naval Training at INS Chilka, candidates will proceed to the Naval College of Engineering in Lonovala, Maharashtra to pursue their B.E. degree. Following the successful completion of their B.E., cadets will undergo a 10-month Post Commissioned Training. Upon completion of this training, they will be employed as Lieutenants in the Navy.

Department of Atomic Energy Free Chance for Education and Employment

v The Department of Atomic Energy administers an annual examination known as the National Eligibility cum Screening Test (NEST). Those who pass this test will have the opportunity to enroll in either the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) in Bhubaneswar, Odhisa, or the Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences at the University of Mumbai. Successful candidates will be admitted to 5-year integrated courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. Each candidate will receive a stipend of Rs.65,000 per year, along with Rs.20,000 annually for a summer internship.
